Outpatient therapy allows individuals to work through problems with a licensed counselor on a one-to-one basis, within a group or in family sessions. For many individuals a more supportive type of therapy is needed. Community support services and skills training are provided 15 to 30 hours a week in the home, school or other appropriate settings.
